Cats Hotline

Mount Roland Land Care's Life on the Mountain Project has revealed that a number of feral cats are living in the Mount Roland Regional Reserve (see above for a sample of pictures taken using remote cameras).

We have now established a Cats Hotline to gain a better understanding of the distribution and population of cats present around the fringes of the Reserve.   The information gathered may provide evidence for future management actions to help protect the Reserve from continuing invasion by cats.

We are interested in cat sightings in the specific area adjoining the north face of Mount Roland, bounded by Union Bridge Road at the top of The Gog Range through Paradise to Claude Road, then along Claude Road to Oliver’s Road then up to the Round Mountain lookout. â€‹
