The group began with a focus on restoring the health of degraded waterways in the Dasher, Minnow, and Don Catchments. With the assistance of a $350K Australian Government grant, a passionate, committed and enthusiastic Committee implemented very significant works including in-stream engineering, fencing to exclude stock, provision of off-stream watering points, revegetation through native spp. planting, and extensive weed control (particularly of willows).
